A day in the bird blind

Out beside my house is a small woodlot. I have a blind out there set up with feeders and perches. I enjoy just going out there and spending time watching and listening to the different birds. I have learned a lot about behavior and sounds from just being there. I like the variety I have.

This one perched on my cedar post I have in the ground. There is a hole drilled, in the top, for seed.

  1. You have some very nice bird photos. I also like your HDR images. I have that program, but I shoot birds mostly, and I can’t get one to sit still long enough for 5 exposures. 🙂
