My brothers, sisters and I are of the oldest living generation of my family. All the other generations are gone. We have a family gathering every year at the 4th and Thanksgiving. Due to health and various other reasons we don’t all make it very often. It had been awhile since we all had our photo taken.
From left to right, front to back:
Sister in law Barbara, brothers Wayne and Curtis, sister in law Betty, brother George, sisters Nell and Linda, sister in law Dorothy, brother John, sister in law Ada and me. I hope we make another one.

I love to do macro photography and especially of the many flowers my sister has. I have been shooting her yard for at least 25 years.
The first macro I did was with a Pentax ME super 35mm and a 70-200 close focus lens.
These were taken with a Vivitar (Phoenix) 100 mm macro lens. For a cost of under $100 used it is as sharp as any I have seen. It is a lot like the Nifty Fifty Canon 50mm f1.8. Plastic and kind of clunky when it focuses. It makes a noise and is slow to focus. How ever it is tack sharp.
I also used a Giottos MT9180 tripod that allows you to get very close to the ground.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did taking it.
